KPMG rolls out the red carpet for Sarah Bonnell School prefect video premiere
On Monday 12 January KPMG invited the Year 11 prefects and key staff from Sarah Bonnell School in Newham to the world premiere of their prefect programme marketing video.
Senior prefects from the school have been working with Rocking Horse TV, commissioned by KPMG, over the past 7 months, writing storyboards and scripts and providing client feedback during the filming and editing process to produce the finish piece.
The project forms part of the school’s strategy, developed and delivered through ELBA’s Business Action Groups for Schools (BAGS) programme, which links businesses and schools to create long term, sustainable relationships.
On the night the prefects walked the red carpet alongside guests from KPMG and the wider Business Action Group. Marc Kennard, Rocking Horse TV Director, Head Girl Sherrice Siddique and Krupali Parikh gave an introduction to the project process and the school’s vision before the video was premiered, to huge applause from the audience.
Mark Allcroft, Partner at KPMG and Business Action Group member for Sarah Bonnell, who supported the project, said “If the result of this is to inspire just one of the pupils to go into a media career or inspire others who see it to the join prefect path then we've all succeeded.”
Patricia Andrews, Student Leadership and Progression Coordinator at Sarah Bonnell School, said 'The students have accomplished so much with very little experience and this experience will remain with them for a very long time'
The video will be used by the school to market the programme, a big selling point of the school, to prospective students and parents, as well as any current students thinking of applying for the role in future years.
The finished video can be viewed below.
